📎 Attachments
Attach supporting documents to tasks, responses, and comments. Simon Wright can read attached documents and use them as context for his feedback.
Three Attachment Contexts
Task Documents
Uploaded at task creation time or added later from the task detail page. Task documents are visible to all team members and are read by Simon Wright if they contain extractable text. Drag and drop files or click to browse. Supported on the New Decision and New Task pages, and in the Documents panel on the task detail page.
Response Attachments
Consultants can attach files to their feedback response when submitting in a round. Response attachments are shown inline below the consultant's feedback text in the task detail view. Upload using the attachment widget below the feedback textarea on the Complete Task page.
Comment Attachments
Any team member can attach files to a discussion comment in the task detail Discussion panel. Comment attachments appear inline below the comment text.
Supported File Types
PDF, Word (.docx), PowerPoint (.pptx), CSV, Markdown (.md), plain text (.txt), and most common image formats (PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, and more). Audio and video files are also accepted for task documents.
Maximum file size: 10 MB per file.
AI Text Extraction
When you upload a PDF, Word document, or text file, DCISN automatically extracts the text content. Files where extraction succeeded show an AI ✓ badge. Simon Wright can read this extracted text as part of his prompt context — the more relevant your documents, the better his feedback.
Binary formats (images, audio, video) cannot be read by Simon's text model, though they're still stored and accessible by team members.
